White House charges against IMF for discrediting Trump tax rebate

White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney today charged the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for defending the tax increase for the highest incomes, and said that the agency is "very involved" in failing the tax cut proposed by US President Donald Trump.

"There are people who are very involved in this failure, because if it works: what would be their argument for a new regulation?" Mulvaney said in an interview with the Financial Times.
